This programme takes learners who can already keep a ledger and teaches them to produce a complete set of financial statements to a professional standard. The emphasis is on the judgements behind the numbers: revenue recognition, inventory valuation, provisions, and the disclosure decisions that separate a compliant set of accounts from a merely arithmetically correct one. International Financial Reporting Standards provide the framework throughout, which is the reporting language used by most large employers across the Gulf.
Who this course is for
- Accountants and accounts assistants preparing statutory accounts
- Finance staff moving from bookkeeping into reporting
